
The delay between your voice and the output is called latency, and you might be able to fix it

After you recorded what you want, make sure you re-select the switch that you switched off. Pic below explains how to mute the playback of the output. You will hear yourself but to avoid that you can temporally mute the output for that channel going to the Main channel or make it run to another channel and mute the channel as a whole. the sample will be auto placed in the playlist (lined up with your music) and on your sample rack.


If youre using playlist playback go to the mixer channel that your mic is on and at the bottom theres either a floppy disk icon (fl11)or just a circle (fl12). This is how you turn off your mic in FL Studio 20.
